We are recruiting three critical Heads of Service roles that sit at the heart of delivering safe, effective and high-quality housing services for residents. Collectively, these leadership roles form a key part of the Housing leadership team and offer a rare opportunity to help shape services that are central to the council’s improvement journey and long-term sustainability.

The roles span housing management, homelessness and prevention, and compliance and safety. Each comes with a significant leadership remit and the opportunity to drive meaningful change in complex, highly regulated service areas that have a direct impact on people’s lives.

We are seeking experienced, values-driven leaders who are comfortable operating in challenging environments, balancing strategic leadership with strong operational grip. You will bring the confidence to work constructively with elected members, partners and residents, lead large multidisciplinary teams, and deliver improvement at pace while maintaining a strong focus on governance, financial management and customer outcomes.

Across all three roles, there is a clear mandate to strengthen performance, raise standards, embed learning and build services that are transparent, inclusive and resident-focused.
